The Irishman could be in trouble following his strong comments about the officials after the Royals' 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday
Hunt raged at referee Jon Moss’ decision to rule his second-half strike as offside and the Irishman insisted Reading should have been awarded a penalty for a foul by Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

"It’s a joke that he has not given it, I don’t know what he is looking at, but these decisions are embarrassing. It makes the game a different game.
"There is no excuse. He’s [Guzan] just punched me in the back of the head and got the ball and you wouldn’t get away with it in rugby.
"I was trying to see where the ball was coming from [on disallowed goal] and my chest is off, but my feet behind. The linesman’s position was shocking and he was two or three yards behind it."
Defeat at the hands of Villa leaves Reading’s Premier League position precarious, especially given QPR’s 3-1 victory over Sunderland, with Brian McDermott's side level on points with the rock-bottom Hoops.
"We took the lead then gave away sloppy goals,” Hunt continued. “We have to rectify that quite quickly."
