Former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp signed the winger on loan in the January transfer window and his spectacular dipping volley helped secure victory which leaves the Hoops just four points from safety.

"Hopefully I can take the opportunities when they come and show people what I can do.
"I've spoken to Tim Sherwood a few times and Les Ferdinand has been down to a few games. They're keeping tabs on me and hopefully they are pleased with what they see."
Townsend has featured for Tottenham in domestic cup competitions as well as the Europa League but is yet to start a Premier League game for the club since graduating from the academy at White Hart Lane, and is now on his ninth loan spell.
He is still confident he can break into the first team at the club however, and added: "I scored on my debut and got man of the match so that was my biggest moment at Spurs.
"Unfortunately after that I couldn't back it up but that is the way it goes sometimes. Hopefully I can back my goal up here with a few more performances."
