The hosts were a goal down after 20 minutes thanks to a Steven Fletcher effort. However, Loic Remy replied 10 minutes later and was joined on the scoresheet with wonder-strikes from Andros Townsend and Jermaine Jenas in the second half.
The former Tottenham coach was very impressed with the with the fight his team displayed after going behind, and says it is the best he has seen from them since his arrival.
"It was a good performance today. I felt we started well, we were the better team first half, found ourselves 1-0 down, but got the equaliser before half time," Redknapp told reporters.
"I thought [in] the first-half, we played ever so well. Moved the ball quickly, had width; both wingers caused them problems.

"I'm pleased Loic's scoring goals. That's his third, he's a finisher. It was a good all-round performance today.
"The two in midfield, [Stephane] Mbia and [Ji-Sung] Park - I took a gamble on Park in midfield. He has spent most of his career wide, but I played him [centrally] with Mbia and thought the two were fantastic.
"I played two wingers, two strikers and we went for it. Everybody did their jobs. We looked a good attacking force, and that's the best I've seen us going forward since I've been here."
