The Baggies manager suggests that the unsettled Nigerian striker may yet remain at the Hawthorns, despite his attempt to force a move to QPR on transfer deadline day
West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke has suggested that Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie may yet see out the remainder of his contract.The 31-year-old looked set to leave the Hawthorns following a frantic conclusion to the January transfer window but the Baggies boss now believes that his departure may not be inevitable.
"Things happen and life moves on – that’s the world. It happens in life and in sport," Clarke told the Birmingham Mail. "There is a possibility [of Odemwingie staying] but I haven't spoken to him. He's still trying to get back into the team."
