The west Londoners suffered a second consecutive Premier League defeat on Saturday, losing 2-0 to Manchester United at home, leaving Redknapp's side winless in six and seven points adrift of safety.
However, responding to a fan questioning whether Redknapp would stay regardless of the club's final league position, Fernandes wrote on Twitter: “I'm sure he will.
“I am optimistic as ever. I'm still smiling. Its the next 8 games. Lots of good things.
