The Sierra Leone forward, who joined the Canaries on loan from MLS side Sporting Kansas in January, was only promoted to the first-team squad for the visit of Fulham on the morning of the game after Grant Holt suffered a back spasm.

"I liked what I saw," he told the Eastern Daily Press. "It is as much about getting him up to speed now and he’ll certainly give us another dimension.
"We took a bit of a chance with him. Although he has been training he is well off with the pace of matches because he has had this break with the MLS season.
"We knew we could not play him for so long because the worst thing would have been if we had played him earlier, he pulls a hamstring or picks up an injury and he is out for the next three or four weeks."
Kamara, described as a "rangy, mobile player" by Hughton, scored 31 goals in 98 appearances for Kansas and was on the scoresheet in their 2012 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Final victory in August.
