The Welshman credited his team-mates for their hard fought win away at West Brom as Spurs capitalised on Saturday's favourable Premier League results to move a point behind ChelseaTottenham's Gareth Bale has revealed that he is enjoying playing in a central role for the north London club after the Welshman scored the only goal in his side's 1-0 win over West Brom.
Bale operated more centrally than usual, floating across the midfield, before sealing victory with a stunning late strike from the edge of the area.
Speaking about his position shift, Bale told Sky Sports: "I enjoy it, it's a role that I'm learning season by season. I've come in more often than previous seasons.
"I really enjoy it, it's a new experience for me. It's a chance to improve my game and add another dimension."
Bale also revealed that the team had focused on capitalising on Saturday's Premier League results, which saw Chelsea suffer a defeat against Newcastle and Everton only manage a draw against struggling Aston Villa.

"The lads worked hard and deserved the victory."
January signing Lewis Holtby was also full of praise for his team-mates following his recent arrival, claiming he has been made to feel at home by his fellow players.
The midflielder replaced the injured Jermain Defoe on the 38th minute, and slotted in just behind Clint Dempsey.
After the side's win, Holtby said: "To get the three points away, its a massive boost, it's unbelievable.
"The lads are making it easy for me to play. It's a fantastic club with the team and I enjoy coming in every day and especially games like today.
"That's [playing behind the striker] a position I like to play most, but it doesn't matter I just want to be on the pitch and play with the lads. Games like today, massive game, to get the three points is such a relief.
"I'm just happy to be at the club."
