Portuguese former Chelsea right-back Bosingwa was fined two weeks' wages by Harry Redknapp after refusing to sit on the bench against Fulham two weeks ago, and has not played for the club since.
And 34-year-old Hill feels players who are not concerned about the fate of the Premier League strugglers should leave the club as soon as possible, admitting it hurts to see players on high wages who don't care.
"The gaffer was right - if you don't want to go on the bench, do you want to be here? That hurt us as a group, definitely," he told BBC Sport.

|12/1||QPR are 12/1 with William Hill to beat Liverpool 2-1
The centre-back revealed his pain at falling out of favour with former boss Mark Hughes after the Welshman decided to bring in a number of new faces to Loftus Road.
He continued: "Of course I was hurt when we bought so many new players and I'm not the only one.
"There were another 10 or 11 players who had done well for this club and brought us up from the Championship, which is a hard league."
And the QPR fans' and players' player of last season suggests he is trying to get the message across to some of the club's more decorated squad members that they will need to work harder to rescue the season.
"It's different cultures and the ways the foreigners have been brought up is different. Do they get taught that losing is hard to accept? I don't know.
"It's a different mentality. It hurts and it should hurt everyone no matter what culture or country you're from.
"As much as I can, I've spoken to those players. I'm 34, I've played most of my career in the lower leagues and we are talking about Champions League winners, people who have won Premier Leagues, FA Cups.
"You hope there is a desire within them - to win those kind of medals there must have been. We need that as a team; we need it as a unit.
"We're not naive to think we didn't need change. It's just a case of how much change," he added.
The west London side are currently rock-bottom of the Premier League with 10 points from 19 games, and have only managed one win all season.
