thumbnail Hello,

The Belgium international hopes that the Toffees can secure a place in Europe's top competition next season if they work hard and maintain their good start to the campaign

Everton forward Marouane Fellaini has confessed that he is targeting Champions League qualification with the club this season.

The Toffees secured a sensational last-gasp 2-1 victory over fifth-placed Tottenham at Goodison Park on Sunday. Two goals in the final three minutes from Steven Pienaar and Nikica Jelavic completed a dramatic turnaround and took the club into the top four.

Fellaini has been a key player for David Moyes’ team so far this season, scoring four goals in November to earn the top flight player of the month award, and the 25 year-old is determined to continue his good form in order to help secure Champions League football for the Merseyside club next season.

"Everybody wants to play Champions League next season," Fellaini told the club's official website.

"So we work hard for this and hopefully we can finish in the top four.

"At the moment I am playing well. I am happy - but the most important things are the team and the club.

"I try to give my maximum in every game. The manager likes it when I play in attack. I've been scoring the goals and I work hard on the pitch."
