West Brom boss Clarke wins Premier League Manager of the Month

The Scottish boss has won the league’s award for November after an impressive run of four consecutive victories saw the Baggies climb into the top four of the Premier League

West Brom manager Steve Clarke has been named the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for November.

A run of four back-to-back victories during the month saw the Baggies reach the dizzy heights of the top four, with their defeat of Chelsea at the Hawthorns among their most impressive showings.

Clarke is in his first managerial post following a number of roles as assistant to the likes of Jose Mourinho and Kenny Dalglish, and has wasted no time in showing what he has learned during his time as a coach.

His side enter the festive period occupying sixth place in the division, ahead of the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, and will look to continue their fine form against West Ham on Sunday afternoon.
