thumbnail Hello,

The former Liverpool striker has yet to start a game for the Potters since his summer move to the Britannia Stadium and has now suffered yet another injury setback

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has revealed that striker Michael Owen has suffered a further injury setback and is blaming the cold weather for the blow.

Owen has made just four substitute appearances since joining the Potters in the summer after battling with a hamstring complaint

And it appears that the 32-year-old's injury has flared up once again.

“Michael was doing some work in the gym and just felt his hamstring,” Pulis told reporters.

“I think it was just the cold.”

The Chester-born forward has not scored a Premier League goal since Manchester United's May 2011 win over Blackpool.
