"I think we deserve to be there. In fact, I think we deserve to have even more points, to be honest," the 28-year-old told the club's official website.
Regardless, Ridgewell is keen to ensure that the west Midlands outfit continue their strong start to the campaign as the season enters its winter months.
"We've done really well but the main thing is to keep that going and show people it's not just the start of the season," he added.
"We are going into a lot of games now with the Christmas period coming up shortly and we've got to try to keep it going and picking up points."
