The Hammers have taken the Premier League by storm so far and find themselves in sixth place with an impressive 18 points from 11 games since their return to the top flight
The newly promoted Hammers have already claimed 18 points from just 11 games so far, sitting in sixth while last year's Championship contemporaries, Southampton and Reading, have struggled.
Sam Allardyce's men were tipped as relegation candidates at the start of the year but Nolan insists that the club were always confident in thier own ability and is not concerned if critics do not give them the recognition that they deserve.

"We added some more quality to the squad that we came up with in the summer, so we knew we had a chance of finishing in the top 10. We're looking like we can do that."
While Nolan is confident of ensuring that the club finish in the top half come May, he is also looking towards the future and sees no reason why manager Sam Allardyce cannot go on to lead the club into Europe.
"What we're trying to do at West Ham is what we tried to do at Newcastle," he observed.
"When we came up it was about getting them back to where they belonged and then eventually into Europe.
"That's what I feel that West Ham should do. With the support we've got and with the backing from the boardroom, hopefully we can emulate what Newcastle have done."
