Manchester United have been handed a major boost with the news that Phil Jones could make a return to first team action at the weekend after resuming training on Monday.The defender has yet to feature this season having battled with a back problem and then suffered an injury to his knee cartilage.
However, ahead of a trip to Carrow Road to face Norwich City, the Red Devils will have their defensive ranks bolstered by the 20-year-old.
Sir Alex Ferguson is still without Nemanja Vidic due to a knee issue and recently lost Jonny Evans to a groin strain in the victory over Braga.
