The Wigan boss is hopeful that the on-loan winger will be fit for his side's clash with the Reds on Saturday after the Japan international made a return to full training
The 19-year-old, currently on loan from Arsenal, picked up a groin injury whilst on international duty with Japan and has not featured for the Latics since October.
But, after Miyaichi made a return to full training on Monday, Martinez believes that the youngster could be at full fitness for the meeting with Brendan Rodgers' side.

"But it's great news that he is back training with the squad. The injury was a big blow to him after a bright start to the season but he remained positive throughout his recovery and is very close to 100 per cent again, which is great news for the team."
The attacker also spoke of his desire to return to action for Wigan but concedes that he will have to remain patient in order to recover fully.
"It's been a tough few weeks and I've been desperate to get involved on the pitch and in training but have had to remain patient," Miyaichi remarked.
"Now that I can step up my training I want to do everything I can to get back into the team and back appearing on the pitch."
