Lloris' lack of Tottenham games could hamper France form - Deschamps

The former Marseille coach believes his goalkeeper and captain will not be able to find consistent form with his current playing time at White Hart Lane
France coach Didier Deschamps says Hugo Lloris' lack of playing time at Tottenham "is not good for him".

The goalkeeper has made five appearances for Spurs since his arrival in August, but only one of those has come in the Premier League, and Deschamps can understand the frustration the 25-year-old must be feeling.

"He hasn't had enough playing time and I can see why it would not be good for him," he told reporters at a press conference.

"His situation is hard and not ideal. To be on the on the bench the following weekend after the game he played for us in Spain is not easy.

13/1 Spurs are 13/1 with Paddy Power to draw 0-0 with Maribor tonight
"It is one game per week, mostly in the Europa League. If he plays tonight it will be his third game since the last international match. He cannot get any consistency with this few games."

Despite not having many chances to impress for his new club, the former Olympique Lyonnais man has been named in Deschamps' squad for France's friendly against Italy on Wednesday.
