Since arriving in Manchester from Barcelona two years ago, Toure has been a revelation for City, leading to speculation that he could move clubs in the future, however, the 29-year-old recently expressed his desire to remain at the Etihad for the rest of his career.

"I think so, because Yaya for us is a very important player and for me, personally, he is one of the best players in Europe,” he told reporters.
"In my life, I saw a lot of big players and I think Yaya is part of this."
While Toure has put in some strong performances this season, he is yet to hit the heights of last season but his manager insists that this is due to the absence of key players around him.
"It is probably because we had many injuries, to many important players like David Silva," he continued.
"If we play David and Samir [Nasri] then Yaya will play better, this is sure. But also, when Yaya is not 100 per cent, he is important for us."
