The England striker made a substitute appearance against San Marino during the international break, after making appearances against QPR and Arsenal following a hamstring injury sustained on his Hammers debut.

"He's been training all the time and he does look sharp," Jarvis told Sky Sports.
"He's one of those players that’s always hungry to play and I'm sure if he's fit and ready to go at the weekend he'll be all good.
"As a striker you always want to score goals but I think he's shown in the games he's played what he brings to the team and if it's not his goals he's putting other people into play and generally terrorising defences and making it easier for others to play.
"But I'll be delighted for him to get off the mark, its good when you first go to a team to get your first goal and I was very pleased to do that against QPR."
