thumbnail Hello,

The American forward is hopeful Spurs can end their London rivals' unbeaten start to the Premier League season when they visit White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon

Tottenham attacker Clint Dempsey believes home advantage could play a big part when his side take on London rivals Chelsea on Saturday.

Spurs have posted victory in their last four league matches and recently ran out 3-2 victors against perennial title challengers Manchester United at Old Trafford.

And the former Fulham forward insists it is vital to keep that run of form up when they face the Blues, who have yet to lose a Premier League game this term.

"It is going to be an important game because the table is so tight," he told Sky Sports News. “You have to take care of your home games and try and get as many results as you can.

"We want to continue this run of positive results, so we know it is going to be a tough test but we are all excited, and we have everyone back from fitness now and we are looking to make the most of this game."

The 29-year-old went on to express his happiness with life at the club following his £6 million move from Fulham on deadline day, but underlined his desire to contribute more in terms of goals and assists.

He added: "I feel like I am settling in. I have played in seven games, and six starts - with a goal and assist in the league and I would like better numbers than that but at the same time I am feeling good and playing consistently, I am playing well but I just want more goals and assists as it feels I am contributing more."
