The Brazilian fired one past Norsjaelland in the Champions League after the winger's strike against Arsenal at the weekend and neither player wants to give up their set-pieces
Brazilian defender Luiz fired in a rocket on his way to helping Chelsea defeat Nordsjaelland 4-0 on Tuesday night and has staked his claim for more responsibility, but faces stiff competition from Mata among others.

"Sometimes they give me the ball and I had the confidence to take the ball and just shoot. If you have confidence to shoot, you can shoot."
He will have to get past Mata first, though, as the Spaniard scored against Arsenal in the previous game. The winger is, however, open to sharing out free-kick duties.
"Who takes the next one depends on which side of the pitch we have it," Mata stated.
"If it's for a left-footed player, it will be me. If it's on the other side, maybe David or someone else.
"I'd like it if we could score from a free-kick in every game, whether that's me, David, Frank or Eden Hazard. The important thing is that we have very good players who want to take them."
It will be a welcome bit of competition for Roberto Di Matteo as he looks to continue Chelsea's blistering start to the Premier League season.
