Arsenal left-back Andre Santos has been banned from driving for 12 months after admitting to driving at speeds of up to 145mph.A court heard how the 29-year-old, who was signed from Turkish side Fenerbahce last summer, failed to stop when pursued by police and switched between lanes on a busy motorway on August 17 2011.
The Brazilian eventually stopped his Maserati close to Arsenal's training ground after speeding on the A1 and M25 in Hertfordshire.

Santos has only made two appearances for the club so far this season, in both the Premier League and the League Cup, while Kieran Gibbs retains the left-back spot, impressing in the early season.
