The England midfielder missed the entirety of last season through injury, but is now back in training and could return by the end of October according to his manager
The 20-year-old has been sidelined for 14 months following a series of injuries, which caused him to miss Arsenal's Premier League campaign, Euro 2012 and the Olympics.

"We need to manage him well. He needs a few games in the reserves. Wilshere had ups and downs. He was focused, especially in the last three months. We have to be a bit cautious," he told reporters.
"When you're so young and you're out for 14 months, it's a good test for your mental strength."
Wenger also announced last week that Emannuel Frimpong has resumed training, and says that he could play much sooner.
"He's a bit in front of Jack on match fitness. He could play tonight for reserves," he added.
