The 23-year-old, who has been sidelined with a knee injury since the start of the season, is targeting a return to the Canaries' starting line-up by the end of September
The 23-year-old was injured during a substitute appearance against Fulham on the opening day, as the Canaries slumped to a 5-0 defeat at Craven Cottage.
However, recently appointed manager Chris Hughton has revealed that the former Brighton man is set to rejoin training soon.
"He will be training next Monday and is making very good progress," he told reporters.
Bennett was signed by former boss Paul Lambert last summer and played a crucial part as his side avoided relegation upon their return to the Premier League.
However, the Carrow Road outfit have yet to win a game this term, following up defeat to the Cottagers with draws against QPR, Tottenham and West Ham.
