The Ivory Coast striker has already scored since arriving from La Liga outfit Levante this summer and has expressed his delight at settling in quickly at the DW Stadium
Arouna Kone says he has settled in very quickly at Wigan Athletic and wants to repay the faith shown to him by the club by scoring goals.
The 28-year-old penned a three-year deal at DW Stadium after making the switch from Levante, and scored his first Premier League goal in the 2-0 win over Southampton.
He told Sky Sports: "I am settling very well at Wigan. Coach [Roberto] Martinez is very good and I love it there.

"Hopefully I will reward the club for the trust they put in me with goals and performances to be proud of."
Kone’s was also recently called up by Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi for the convincing 4-2 win over Senegal after a four-year absence, in a move which has delighted the striker.
He added: "I am very happy to return to the national team after four years.
"To return for an important match and to win is very good.
"I know most of the squad; the team has not changed much in four years, it is the same group!"
