The former England international winger was included in Spurs' 25-man Premier League squad list but has been allowed to link up with the Russian side for four months
Tottenham midfielder David Bentley has made a surprise loan move to Russian side FC Rostov until January. The winger had been included in Andre Villas-Boas' 25-man Premier League squad list for the first half of the season but has nevertheless been permitted to leave the club, with first-team football at White Hart Lane apparently unlikely.
Since joining Spurs for £15 million in July 2008, the 28-year-old has only made 62 competitive appearances for his side over four years.
