The 28-year-old admitted that many at the club were anxious when the Northern Irishman departed for Anfield, however the capture of the Danish legend is now what everyone is talking about.
The Swans have made a great start to the league with dominant wins over QPR and West Ham, while salvaging a draw against Sunderland which has seen them rise to second in the Premier League.
Vorm told reporters: "Everyone was a bit scared when Brendan Rodgers left, but I think nobody is talking about Brendan anymore. It's all about Laudrup now.
"He is a big name and a legend. He was a world star. With his stature, he lived in Italy, Spain and the Netherlands, he is used to it, but he may be getting even more attention over here then elsewhere."
The Dutchman is confident that the team can continue their good form and believes the new signings have slotted into the team well, adapting to Swansea's footballing philosophy.
He added: "Last season we showed what we can do, but we're only getting better. We have technical players and we can keep the ball in our team for a long time. And our new players are adapting into our system very well."
