The right-back is one of five new players to have joined the Premier League champions on transfer-deadline day as he completed a move from Inter, and he has spoken of his excitement at the prospect of competing for more titles.
The Brazilian defender spent two seasons playing under Roberto Mancini before he moved to the Etihad, and has welcomed the chance to reunite with the Italian manager and help the club earn more silverware.
Maicon told City's official website: "I want to make great history at Manchester City as I have done over here at Inter Milan.
