Everton are close to completing their sixth summer signing after reaching an agreement with Belgian side Club Brugge over a season long loan for midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe.

The deal was in place prior to Friday's transfer deadline, with all the neccesary paperwork submitted to the Premier League and Football Association.

The Toffees are now awaiting for the deal to be officially rubber stamped by Fifa, which is expected to happen early next week.

The 23-year-old will join fellow Belgian internationals Marouane Fellaini and Kevin Mirallas at Goodison Park on a year-long loan with an option to buy.

He had a spell in Germany's Bundesliga with Hamburg after failing to break into the first team at Anderlecht but after a largely unsuccessful period he returned to Belgium three years ago to join Club Brugge, where he has made 117 appearances.
