Everton have completed the signing of Kilmarnock youngster Matthew Kennedy on a three-year deal.

The 17-year-old had been linked with both the Toffees and Chelsea, but it was David Moyes who made the first move to land the winger after lodging bid earlier this week.

Kennedy, who has made 14 senior appearances for the SPL side, will now move to Goodison Park for a fee believed to be in the region of £200,000 after agreeing personal terms with the club.

The young attacking player has played three times this seasaon for Kilmarnock, helping the club secure a win and two draws from their opening SPL encounters.
