With this in mind, we take to the Twittersphere to round up the best of the reaction to all the late deals, with Nigel de Jong's departure hitting many team-mates at Manchester City hard, while Rio Ferdinand offers his views on the transfer window and Michael Owen begins to get itchy feet.
