Hazard followed his old brother Eden to Chelsea in July from Lens but was only ever expected to be part of the club’s development squad this season, however Roberto Di Matteo has opted to send the youngster out on loan to the Belgian Pro League side to gain experience instead.
And the midfielder is looking forward to returning to his homeland to play regular first team football so he is ready for the battle to get into the Chelsea first team next season.
"Zulte Waregem is a club that gives young players opportunities under the wings of experienced players,” he said.
“There is a good mix here.
"They give opportunities to the youth and that was the deciding factor."
