thumbnail Hello,

Impressive displays from Everton's Fellaini, Jagielka and Pienaar see the Toffees feature heavily in our XI, while Manchester United's Shinji Kagawa is also included

Chelsea trio Fernando Torres, Eden Hazard and Branislav Ivanovic lead the way in our TOTW after they inspired the Blues to their third win in three games against Newcastle on Saturday evening.

Both Hazard and Ivanovic feature in the XI for the second time in two matches, while Torres sealed his place after making it two goals in three for the season.

The full-back put another solid display at the back while the forward pairing were influential in the 2-0 victory over Alan Pardew’s side. Torres won the penalty that was duly dispatched by Hazard to open his account for the Blues before the Belgian turned provider for his Spanish team-mate.

Manchester United playmaker Shinji Kagawa also features in our side after he helped the Red Devils to a 3-2 victory over Fulham at the weekend.

The Japan international got his name on the scoresheet in his first start on home soil, although fellow Old Trafford debutant Robin van Persie just misses the cut despite also finding the back of the net.

Instead, Carlos Tevez fills the forward slot, with the Argentine once again influential for Manchester City as they came from behind twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Liverpool. The former West Ham man capitalised on a Martin Skrtel error to ensure his team came away from Merseyside with a point.

Also featuring from that game is Reds’ midfielder Joe Allen, who caps an impressive Anfield debut with a place in our TOTW.

Everton’s Steven Pienaar also lines up in the centre, with the South African once again instrumental as David Moyes’ men sealed a 3-1 away victory at Aston Villa, while Marouane Fellaini again bags a spot in midfield after a goalscoring performance.

Fellow Toffee Phil Jagielka features at centre-back after another impressive defensive display in which he also grabbed an assist, while Jonas Olsson partners the 30-year-old following his role in West Brom’s 1-1 away draw with Tottenham on Saturday.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto is the only Spurs player to feature this week, with the Cameroon international beating off competition from Leighton Baines to be included at left-back after he temporarily put his side a goal to the good at White Hart Lane.

Wigan goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi completes our TOTW following Wigan’s 2-0 away victory against Southampton on Saturday. Al-Habsi made a number of crucial saves to prevent the Saints opening their account on home turf.

Norwich debutants Sebastian Bassong and Javier Garrido and Fulham pair Damien Duff and Moussa Dembele are all unfortunate not to make the cut, while Nikica Jelavic, Robert Snodgrass and Sylvain Distin just miss out.
