thumbnail Hello,

The Chelsea playmaker has expressed his excitement to make a return to the Blues' home ground ahead of their Premier League clash with Reading on Wednesday evening

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata has expressed his excitement over making a return to Stamford Bridge when his side face Reading on Wednesday night.

Roberto Di Matteo's men are set to play in front of their own fans for the first time since their FA Cup and Champions' League triumphs last season.

And, after the Blues' 2-0 opening-day victory against Wigan, a sell-out crowd is expected for the visit of the newly promoted Royals.

"It should be a fantastic atmosphere, for sure," Mata told Chelsea TV. "As always, it will be sold out, and it will be fantastic to meet with our supporters again.

"Last year, my first season here, was amazing for me personally, but I want to improve and I think I can because I'm still young and that's what I always want to do."

Reading got their Premier League campaign off to a solid start on the opening day, earning a point against Stoke City at the Madejski Stadium in a 1-1 draw thanks to Adam Le Fondre's late penalty.
