thumbnail Hello,

The Spaniard helped the Blues secure an FA Cup and Champions League double in his debut year at Stamford Bridge and is already eyeing further success in the 2012-13 campaign

Chelsea attacker Juan Mata has stated that he is confident that the Blues can win further trophies next season.

The Spaniard joined the west London side from Valencia last summer and went on to help them to a Champions League and FA Cup double.

And the 24-year-old, who took part in both Spain's victorious Euro 2012 campaign and the disastrous Olympics this summer, is already eyeing more success ahead of the new season.

"I feel really good and confident for the new season. I think it will be a good one for us," he told Chelsea TV.

"For sure, our desire is to win another trophy, either the Premier League or Champions League.

"These competitions are very important for us and we will try to do our best."

The former Real Madrid youth prospect also hailed the Blues' work in the transfer window thus far, after seeing the likes of Oscar, Eden Hazard and Marko Marin arrive.

He added: “We've bought some quality players, which is good for the team."
