Dutch manager is happy with his options but would like further depth at Craven Cottage and insists that he wants to keep Liverpool target, Clint Dempsey, at the clubFulham manager Martin Jol has revealed he would like to sign a striker and a midfielder before the end of the transfer window.
The Cottagers have signed three players this summer, Hugo Rodallega, Mladen Petric and Sascha Riether, but the Dutchman wants to add further after the recent departure of key players such as Danny Murphy and Bobby Zamora.
Jol told the Fulham Chronicle: “I'm very happy with the players we've brought in.
“Rodallega is fit now. He had an ankle injury but trained for the first time on Friday. Petric is looking pretty good as well.
“We're still looking to strengthen because we lost three strikers; Bobby in January and Andy [Johnson] and [Pavel] Pogrebnyak.
“We've got Rodallega and Petric and maybe we're still on the lookout for another one.
“I was sad that Danny went. We agreed terms then Blackburn offered him two years. That happened within one or two hours so I was not happy with that.

“I wish him all the best because he was a great servant for this club and I wanted to keep him.
“[Mahamadou] Diarra can play that role and Dickson [Etuhu] is still here, but we're certainly looking for one midfield player.”However, Jol was reluctant to be drawn on the speculation surrounding Clint Dempsey, who is entering the final year of his contract at Craven Cottage, and has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool recently.
He added: “I don't want to talk about that [speculation]. I love Clint, he scored a lot of goals and I want to keep him.”
