Stoke youngster Lund rejoins Bristol Rovers on loan

The Potters' midfielder is set for a second spell at the League Two outfit after the two clubs agreed a six-month loan deal
Stoke City midfielder Matthew Lund is set to join League Two side Brisol Rovers on a six-month loan deal according to the the club's official website.

Lund started his career in Crewe Alexandra's youth academy before signing a professional contract at the Britannia Stadium in 2009.

It will be the 21-year-old's second spell at the Memorial Stadium following an initial loan last season which saw him make 13 appearances for the Pirates scoring his first two professional goals in a 5-1 win over Accrington Stanley.

Lund has also spent time at Hereford United and Oldham Athletic and joins fellow youngsters Florent Cuvelier and Ryan Brunt who have temporarily left Stoke for Walsall and Leyton Orient, respectively.
