The Newcastle strike duo had been expected to take part but it is believed that concerns over their fitness were raised by Magpies boss Alan Pardew

Newcastle strikers Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba have been left out of the Senegal squad for this summer's Olympic Games.

The pair enjoyed a prolific season for the Magpies, scoring 16 and 13 Premier League goals respectively as Alan Pardew's side secured a fifth-placed finish.
