Manchester City's Weiss reveals offers in England, Italy and Spain

A move away from the Etihad Stadium appears to be on the cards for the young Slovakian, who has struggled to break into the club's first team plans and has spent time out on loan
Manchester City midfielder Vladimir Weiss has revealed he has received word of interest from several clubs in Europe's top leagues as he looks to put a troubled spell with the new Premier League winners to an end.

The 22-year-old Slovakian winger managed only one club appearance in 2009 before being loaned out to Bolton, Rangers and Espanyol in quick succession.

"At the moment I can already tell you that I have four specific offers. One from England, one from Italy and two from Spain," Weiss told Sport Aktuality.

"After the start of the pre-season preparations [with Manchester City], I want to wait for a week or two to see how the situation develops.

"I have also been in touch with German clubs and there is a rumoured interest from Russia and Turkey, but I'm not looking in that direction though, because as long as I have offers from the top leagues, I will be interested in those."

Weiss' contract with Roberto Mancini's side is due to expire the following season. He made 28 appearances in La Liga while on loan at Espanyol last term.
