thumbnail Hello,

The one-cap England winger is one of the prize assets at Molineux, but looks likely to leave following the club's relegation despite the latest denials from the CEO

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey has insisted that there has been no discussions between winger Matt Jarvis and Stoke City, despite recent speculation stating otherwise.

Rumours were rife last week that Tony Pulis, who has a long-standing admiration in the 26-year-old and has previously spoken of his interest in the versatile midfielder, had lodged an £8 million bid to take the player to the Britannia Stadium.

However, Moxey has refuted any talk, telling the Express & Star: "They haven’t even spoken to us about him."

These latest rumours surrounding the player’s future come three weeks after reports that Premier League newboys West Ham had bid £4m for Jarvis, reports which were also strongly denied by the club.

Jarvis, who made his only England appearance in the March 2011 friendly with Ghana, moved to Wolves from Gillingham in 2007 for £600k, but after 172 appearances and 21 goals, looks likely to leave Molineux following the side’s relegation to the Championship.
