Tottenham Hotspur right-back Vedran Corluka is on the verge of signing for Lokomotiv Moscow, according to Jutarnji.
The defender has lost his place in the starting XI at the London club, and subsequently spent the second half of last season on loan at German side Bayer Leverkusen.
The BayArena outfit turned down the chance to sign him on a permanent basis, but it seems the player has found another suitor for his services in the form of Lokomotiv, who are willing to shell out a sum in the region of €5 million for the defender.
The Russian side have already lured the 26-year-old's coach at international level, Slaven Bilic, to Moscow, and it is believed that the appointment of the trainer is one of the main reason for the defender's decision to move to the Russian capital.
The two clubs reportedly have a good relationship, following the successful transfer of Roman Pavlyuchenko to the Lokomotiv Stadium in the last winter transfer window.
