The Spurs keeper believes the ex-Chelsea boss would be the ideal candidate to take up the vacant managerial position at White Hart Lane following Harry Redknapp's departure
The 34-year-old manager joined Chelsea after a year at Porto which saw him win the treble, but was sacked just eight months into his first season with the London club. However, Cudicini feels that the Portuguese could be the right man to take Tottenham forward.
He told Sky Sports Italia: "I think it would be good for him. I also think it would be a good opportunity for him to grow as a coach.
"Tottenham are a great team and he could learn a lot here."

But the 38-year-old also believes that either ex-Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez or former England manager Fabio Capello would be a suitable replacement for the Redknapp.
"Benitez did very well in England as coach of Liverpool and he knows English football very well," Cudicini added.
"However, it's obvious that many names have been brought up because Tottenham are one of the most important Premier League clubs.
"[Fabio] Capello to Tottenham would make me very happy," Cudicini told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"I played under him at AC Milan when I was young and he won so much with the senior team. He would bring experience and knowledge into the side."
