Liverpool have officially revealed their new black away kit for the 2012-13 Premier League campaign.The new away kit, manufactured by Warrior Sports, pays tribute to Liverpool’s maritime roots and is inspired by the kit worn between 1900 and 1906 and is built around the theme of ‘modern tradition’.

Developed out of Warrior Sports' global football headquarters in Wilmslow, England, the new Liverpool away kit has been constructed by a hand-picked team of design and development experts and features unique technology for optimised performance on the pitch.

"The away kit draws strong parallels from the uniforms worn by the Liverpool dockyard workers who plied their trade at the Mersey Docks - the world's most influential ship building at the turn of the 20th century," said the head of Warrior Football, Richard Wright.
