Netherlands international has insisted he is focused solely on the forthcoming European Championships amidst reports linked him with a move to the Bundesliga
Tottenham midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has refused to comment on reports linking him with a summer move to Schalke and the possibility of linking up with fellow countryman Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, according to Bild. The German newspaper claims the Gelsenkirchen-based club have been locked in talks with Van Der Vaart's agent as they wish to pair their prolific striker with the Spurs man.

The 29-year-old was close to joining Schalke in 2010 before signing for Tottenham, but a move failed to materialise.
However, when questioned about the reports, the former Hamburg player would only say that he was focusing on this summer's European Championships: "I do not want to say anything on this matter. Right now I am focused on Euro 2012."
Huntelaar meanwhile has admitted he would be delighted to see Van der Vaart swap England for Germany, adding that he would improve the club.
"I don't know anything about my club's market politics and I don't want to get involved with that," he told Sport Bild Online.
"But I do know Rafael [Van der Vaart] for years. He is a world class player. He can help any club in the world - of course Schalke, too. A transfer would be great."
Meanwhile, it is reported that Schalke are also pondering the possibility of signing Chelsea attacker Salomon Kalou.
The Ivory Coast international, who has been at Chelsea since 2006, has been a bit-part player at Stamford Bridge, and his transfer to the Bundesliga club is estimated at £7.1 million by the German daily.
