Following the Bulgarian's declaration that he intends to quit Old Trafford this summer his agent has spoken of an interest in joining the project underway at the Ligue 1 runners-up

Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov's agent has revealed that his client is interested in a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Bulgarian has struggled to force his way into Sir Alex Ferguson's plans this season making just 11 starts, and it would seem that the club are now willing to move him on if the price is the right.

United's record signing has already admitted that his time at Old Trafford seems to be over and has been linked with a swap deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

"In the press, there are many speculations regarding Dimitar'' Emil Danchev told French radio station RMC.

"But the truth is, that PSG's project can really interest him because he wants to play the Champions League next year.''

Given PSG's interest in the ex-Tottenham striker last summer it would appear that the move could suit both parties and his agent was keen to point out the mooted transfer would bring about a first for the French club.

"Plus, there has never been a Bulgarian player at PSG, so it could be good."
