"[Didier] Drogba is a very good player. He has immense quality," Romeu told Esports Cope.
"He could adapt to any team. It's a real shame that he's leaving Chelsea, because he added a lot to the team."
The former Barcelona starlet then went on to discuss the appointment of Tito Vilanova as new head coach at the Blaugrana, and stated that the current assistant has what it takes to succeed in his new position.
"Barcelona are keen to continue the same path they have been following," he added.
"Tito has an excellent relationship with the players, and he will be well-prepared for the position of head coach."
The 20-year-old midfielder worked with Vilanova at Barcelona before leaving the Catalans for Chelsea in the summer of 2011.
