McEachran happy to return to Chelsea after growing frustrated during Swansea loan spell

The 19-year-old midfielder endured a frustrating stay at the Welsh side during a six-month loan spell, failing to break through into becoming a regular in the starting line-up
Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran has admitted that he is glad that his loan spell at Swansea City has finished and that he can return to his parent club.

The England under-21 international moved to Brendan Rodgers' side on loan in January but failed to break into the first-team, despite being held in high esteem as a player of great potential.

"It's been frustrating. I've just got to keep my head up," McEachran told reporters.

"I'm looking forward to going back to Chelsea and training with the team again."

The 19-year-old made just five appearances and one start during his six-month spell at the Swans, playing just 215 minutes in total and reportedly costing the Welsh club around £1.7 million in wages and fees.
