Ex-Barcelona midfielder praises the Italian tactician for giving the squad the confidence to overtake Manchester United, and is keen to make history by winning the title
Yaya Toure argues that Roberto Mancini’s belief in his squad has played a crucial role in Manchester City overtaking local rivals Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table.City were languishing eight points behind the Red Devils in early April but now know that a win against QPR on Sunday would guarantee them their first top-flight title since 1968, and Toure has hailed the "unbelievable" efforts of the former Inter coach.

"And if we keep on winning we feel United can drop enough points for us. And we did it."
Toure scored both of City’s goals in their 2-0 win against Newcastle last time out but is aware that that they still have to perform against relegation-battlers QPR in the final game of the season.
He added: "[We are] very happy but I think the job is not done yet we have to continue to win and look after Sunday.
"It will be amazing [to win the title] because it's for that that I came to City, to make history, and I hope I will make this history the next week. But we know it's going to be tough against QPR because they need the points."
