Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has set his sights on the Premier League title after his side's 1-0 win over rivals Manchester United.

City emerged triumphant at the Etihad Stadium on Monday night to take them top of the Premier League table on goal difference with two games left to play, and Aguero stated afterward that he understood how much the match meant to the club and its fans.

"It's a great pride to play along so many players that give it all for the team. We knew that we had to be decisive to win the derby," the Argentine wrote on Twitter.

"We kept our focus throughout the match and there's no doubt we deserved the victory. We couldn't let this opportunity go.
