Liverpool heroes past and present to turn out in support of Hillsborough victims

Sunday marks the 23rd anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, in which 96 Liverpool fans lost their lives during an FA Cup semi-final between the Merseyside club and Nottingham Forest.

To commemorate the lives of those lost in Sheffield, Liverpool will be holding a memorial service at Anfield, with players from past and present expected to attend.

The service comes a day after Liverpool's FA Cup semi-final win over neighbours Everton at Wembley, where a minute's silence was observed with relatives of some of the 96 to die present. reporter David Lynch will be at the ground for the service.
