thumbnail Hello,

Old Trafford boss also confirms Phil Jones will return to the Red Devils' squad for their game against Fulham on Monday night as injury worries ease with title chase gathering pace

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Manchester United winger Nani could return to training this week.

The Portugal international has missed United's last three games with a foot problem but is closing in on a first team return.

Ferguson also revealed that Phil Jones is set to return to the first-team after sitting out the Red Devils' 5-0 drubbing of Wolves with an illness.

"There are no problems with injuries, it's much better now," Ferguson told United's official website.

"There was Jones getting that bout of 'flu but he's back. Jones was actually back on Friday but we didn't risk him on Sunday. He'll be available [for the Fulham game].

"So they're all training apart from Nani, who should not be far away and might start training this week, while Anderson and Michael Owen are the only other ones out.

"Nemanja Vidic and Darren Fletcher are obviously still long term."
